A Little About
Myself.

The official line: I am a leader of people who, through engineering disciplines and real world experiences, brings an idea to fruition by building an approach, bringing together talent, and empowering teams to accomplish great things. In corporate, non-profit and volunteer environments. Across numerous industries and functions. Formally educated at the University of Illinois with degrees in business administration (MBA) and engineering (MS, BS).

The bottom line: I believe living a life in gratitude and of service to others is the secret. I also believe vulnerability is a strength. And I absolutely believe things happen for a reason and I am on a need-to-know reason as to why.

This is a journey, and there is more to experience.
THERE'S MORE

The missing link.

Picture
In my twenty years of experience, a common missing link in corporate culture has been employee awareness of the enterprise's  value chain and where their role and responsibilities fit within it. This lack of awareness contributes to process delays, unresolved issues and reduced information sharing. Ultimately, the customer's experience is impacted.

Knowledge of the end-to-end value chain and the link(s) each employee contributes to builds a sense of ownership, community and pride. Having the self awareness of the upstream and downstream impacts to an employee's activities drives efficiency, quality, timely communications, and ultimately, increases overall customer satisfaction.

Defining the value chain and facilitating each employee's understanding of their role within it is one of the first contributions I make as a leader. Check out my experience for more details.
My Experience

Start a conversation.

I am always willing to have a dialogue and share experiences. This is how we learn from each other and pay it forward. If you would like to learn more about me, my experiences in what has worked and what hasn't, and share the same...let's connect!
